As quail raising is much less popular than most other common farm animals, there are few feed options specific to quail.  The good news, is some poultry feed will work just fine for quail.  When picking out the best feed for your quail, consider the following...

Protein - Choose a feed with the highest protein content that you can find (26%+ is ideal).  While the quail can survive on lower protein mixes, you will see a better feed to meat conversion with a higher mix.

Please note that chicks have very small mouths and you may need to further grind their food for the first few days.

My personal preference is to start quail with a gamebird starter and switch to a poultry crumble feed.
